Memories of Motion

This Shipping Policy explains how we process, fulfil and deliver orders placed through Memories of Motion. It should be read together with our Terms of Service and Returns and Refunds Policy.
Order Fulfilment
Memories of Motion uses a mixture of direct fulfilment and specialist supplier fulfilment.
Books printed, stocked or supplied directly by Memories of Motion are shipped by us.
All other products, including photo prints, wall art, mugs, apparel, accessories and print-on-demand products, are shipped directly to you by our suppliers or fulfilment partners. These partners may include Loxley Colour, Printful, Inkthreadable, Teemill or another specialist production partner shown or implied by the product type.
Your contract remains with Memories of Motion, even where an item is produced or shipped by one of our suppliers.
Shipping Profiles Used in Our Store
Our Shopify store uses shipping profiles to apply the correct delivery options for each product type. Current store profiles include:

Processing and Production Times
Delivery time is made up of production time plus courier or postal transit time. Production time is the time needed to print, make, pack or prepare your order before dispatch.
Estimated processing and production times vary by product type:
- Books shipped by Memories of Motion: normally dispatched within 2-5 working days if in stock, unless a product page states that the book is a pre-order, back-order or special item.
- Loxley Colour photo products: production varies by product, finish and order volume. Simple photographic prints are often produced faster than framed, mounted or wall art products. Delivery time is in addition to production time.
- Printful products: most products are produced within 2-5 business days before shipping, though production can take longer during busy periods, for complex items or where stock availability changes.
- Inkthreadable products: Inkthreadable states a standard turnaround time of 5 working days before dispatch, subject to stock and production conditions.
- Teemill products: production and dispatch times depend on the product, stock position and delivery method shown at checkout or in your dispatch confirmation.
We will aim to deliver your order within the delivery estimate shown at checkout or on the relevant product page. If no specific delivery period is agreed, UK consumer orders will be delivered within 30 days unless we agree a different timeframe with you.
Delivery Estimates
Delivery estimates are not guaranteed unless we expressly state that a delivery service is guaranteed. Estimated delivery dates can be affected by supplier production times, courier delays, postal disruption, bad weather, customs processing, peak trading periods, stock availability, incorrect address details or events outside our reasonable control.
Supplier-fulfilled products may show different delivery services depending on the product, destination, weight, size and supplier system. For example, supplier services may include Royal Mail, Evri, DPD, DHL, USPS or another carrier.
Printful's standard shipping estimates vary by fulfilment location and destination. For example, some European-to-UK standard services may estimate 3-7 business days after fulfilment, while broader international standard services may estimate 5-20 business days after fulfilment.
Inkthreadable UK shipping estimates vary by selected service. Royal Mail 24 services are commonly estimated at 1-3 working days after dispatch, while Royal Mail 48 services are commonly estimated at 2-5 working days after dispatch. Tracked or courier options may be available for some orders.
Split Shipments
If your order contains products fulfilled by different suppliers, your items may be produced, shipped and delivered separately. This means you may receive more than one dispatch notification, tracking number or parcel.
For example, a book shipped by Memories of Motion, a photographic print shipped by Loxley Colour and a hoodie shipped by Printful may all arrive separately and on different dates.
Separate delivery of items from the same order does not usually mean that the rest of your order has been forgotten. Please check your dispatch emails and tracking links, or contact us if you are unsure.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated and shown at checkout before you place your order. Costs may vary depending on product type, supplier, delivery destination, parcel size, parcel weight, shipping profile, available carrier services and whether your order is split across more than one fulfilment partner.
If your basket contains products from more than one supplier, shipping charges may be combined or charged separately depending on Shopify's available rates and the supplier profiles used for those products.
Tracking
Where tracking is available, we will provide tracking details by email after dispatch. Not all services provide full tracking at every stage. Some postal services only confirm delivery or show limited tracking events.
If you have not received tracking but expected it, please contact us at info@memoriesofmotion.co.uk with your order number.
UK Delivery
Most Memories of Motion products are intended for UK delivery unless the checkout offers delivery to another destination.
Loxley Colour photographic products in our current Shopify setup are configured for Great Britain delivery. If you need a photographic product shipped outside the available checkout destinations, please contact us before ordering.
Some suppliers can ship to wider UK, European or international destinations, but availability depends on the product, supplier, shipping profile and checkout options available at the time of order.
International Delivery, Customs and Import Charges
If international shipping is offered at checkout, your order may be subject to customs checks, import VAT, duties, brokerage fees or local taxes. These charges are set by the destination country and may be payable by you unless checkout clearly states that duties and taxes are included.
Customs processing can delay delivery. Memories of Motion is not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities, but we will help where we reasonably can if a parcel appears to be delayed or lost.
Address Accuracy
Please check your delivery address carefully before placing your order. You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address, including postcode, flat or unit number, house name or number, business name where relevant, and any delivery instructions needed by the carrier.
If you notice an address error after placing your order, contact us immediately at info@memoriesofmotion.co.uk. We will try to help, but we may not be able to change an address after supplier production, dispatch or fulfilment has started.
If an order is delayed, returned, lost or requires re-delivery because the address supplied was incomplete or incorrect, you may be responsible for reasonable replacement, re-delivery or return-to-sender costs unless Memories of Motion or the supplier was at fault.
Lost, Delayed or Missing Parcels
If your parcel has not arrived by the estimated delivery date, please check your tracking link, delivery address, local sorting office, safe place, neighbour delivery notification and any carrier messages first.
If the parcel still cannot be located, contact us at info@memoriesofmotion.co.uk with your order number. We will investigate with the relevant supplier or carrier.
Supplier claim windows can be short, so please report missing parcels promptly. For Printful-fulfilled products, lost-in-transit claims should be reported to us no later than 30 days after the estimated delivery date. For Inkthreadable-fulfilled products, missing parcel investigations may be subject to the supplier's carrier waiting periods and reporting windows.
If a parcel is confirmed lost and you have provided the correct delivery details, we will arrange the appropriate remedy, which may include replacement or refund.
Damaged Parcels or Delivery Issues
If a parcel arrives damaged, please keep the product, packaging and delivery paperwork, and contact us as soon as possible with photographs of the parcel and item. This helps us raise a claim with the supplier or carrier and resolve the issue quickly.
Damaged, faulty, incorrect or not-as-described items are handled under our Returns and Refunds Policy and your statutory rights are not affected.
Risk and Delivery
For consumer orders, risk in the goods passes to you when the goods are delivered to you, or to someone identified by you to receive them. If you arrange your own carrier independently of the delivery options we offer, risk may pass when the goods are handed to that carrier.
